Why Ticket Assurance?
Protect your ticket purchase. We are now offering Ticket Assurance on selected events. This Assurance is optional protection that you can choose to accept or decline on the last page of your ticket purchase. If you choose to accept the Ticket Assurance, in the event of an unforeseen cancellation or postponement of an ENTIRE event, you will receive a refund for your ticket order, to include ticket price (even if the venue/producer will not refund tickets), convenience and delivery fees (less the cost of the assurance insurance). Refunds are NEVER issued in the case of PARTIAL cancellations due to weather or other related reasons that may shorten an event. This does not cover “change of plans”.
Will I receive my convenience and processing fees back if I purchase the Ticket Assurance?
Yes. If an entire event is cancelled or postponed (if you choose not to attend the new date) you will receive the cost of the tickets and fees back. The fee for Assurance is non refundable.
What happens if the show is postponed and not cancelled?
If Ticket Assurance has been purchased, a refund can be issued if you are unable to attend the rescheduled date of the event.
Is the assurance per ticket charge or a per order charge?
Ticket Assurance is purchased for the entire order, not per ticket at this time.
How much does Ticket Assurance cost?
Depending on the event ticket prices, the Assurance ranges from $2.99 to $8.99, per order.
Can I add Ticket Assurance to my order after I have completed the transaction?
Ticket Assurance must be purchased at the time of the original order. If available, the option to purchase Assurance is a required field in which you will choose to accept or decline. If I paid to have my tickets shipped or printed, will I receive a refund to include the shipping cost?
Yes. All costs related to the purchase will be refunded, less the cost of the insurance.
If I can’t make an event and the show goes on, can I get a refund for my order?
No. This Assurance only covers your order if an entire event is cancelled or postponed by the promoter/producer. There are no refunds if the event goes on. This is not “change of plans” Assurance.
It’s raining, will I receive a refund if I purchased ticket insurance?
Most outdoor events are rain or shine and will go on. You will only receive a refund if an entire event is cancelled or postponed to another date.
I didn’t purchase the Ticket Assurance, do I get any type of refund if the event is cancelled or postponed?
Most concerts and events are “no refund, no exchange”. Without Assurance, there is not a guarantee you will get any refund. However, depending on the event promoter or venue, you may be eligible for a refund of the price of the ticket only. You will not receive a refund for the ticket fees or shipping.
